Friday, June 4 | 5:00 - 9:00 pm

We’ll be celebrating the start of summer in the sunshine THIS Friday, June 4 – and we hope you’re there to JUMP into Summer with us!

The SCA is jumping into our exciting 2021 summer season with hearts full of joy, pockets full of gratitude, and a whole lot of bold color! We recognize that our community is what makes us strong, and we are so happy to gather with you again at our summer kick-off event.

What could possibly be a stronger start to summer than dancing along to the fresh, feel-good sounds of Mike Mains & The Branches, creating community art projects with your friends and family, and sipping on a delicious beverage in the sunshine?

We’ve been looking forward to this moment for a while now and are eager to give our friends the opportunity to make art and celebrate – together!

What's happening when

The party kicks off at 5:00 pm, and you’re not going to want to miss a minute of this action-packed evening! Grab a unique cocktail or locally brewed beer at the bar, and enjoy the new Outdoor Plaza while deciding which of the incredible food trucks you will get your dinner from (or sample a little of each one).

Take a trip inside where you can experience the opening of our Summer Exhibition Elevating Humanity by esteemed Chicago Muralist, Singer, and Songwriter Sandra Antongiorgi.

You’ll inevitably be filled with inspiration and looking for something creative to dive into – so follow our dancing, costumed crossing guards across the street to Coghlin Park where we will have a plethora of all-ages art projects (including the opportunity to meet and work with Sandra and be a part of the SCA summer exhibition!), community vendors, games, giveaways, educational opportunities, live animals, and MORE!

Parking in downtown Saugatuck can be tricky – we’re here to help! We have arranged off-site parking and a FREE shuttle service to Jump to save you headaches and time trying to find a parking spot!

For the duration of Jump – vendors and guests can park at the Christian Reformed Church (6591 Old Allegan Rd), located less than a mile down the road from the SCA. The Interurban will be picking up/dropping off at the Church and the SCA every 15 minutes!

Since their conception in 2012, the group has built a reputation for their fantastical instrumentation and unforgettable live performances.

While dancing isn’t required, the music of Mike Mains & The Branches will have you moving and grooving, which is enthusiastically encouraged in our designated dancing areas.

You know the old saying — all good things must come to an end!

Get one last drink at the bar at 8:30 pm (try one of our specialty cocktails created just for this event) – just don’t miss the last Interurban that picks up at the SCA at 8:45 pm!

After our event closes at 9:00 pm, explore the rest of the Saugatuck nightlife at one of the MANY bars and restaurants in town!

We can’t WAIT to celebrate all the things that make Saugatuck what it is!
