Magnificent Makers Market

Join us for this one-of-a-kind boutique artisans market at the SCA.

Our thoughtfully selected group of artists represents a broad spectrum of mediums including fiber, glass, metal-working, wood, visual art, clay, and more, all with high-quality work for purchase. Meet artists and shop for hand-made gifts or treats for yourself.

Like our Friday Market set-up, the Makers Market will use COVID protocols to ensure a safe, comfortable shopping experience. Our bar will be open at The Makers Market during the weekend.

Saugatuck is at the heart of West Michigan’s Art Coast and has had a 100+ year “love affair” with the arts. The community is home to both Ox-Bow Schools of Art & Artists’ Residency and the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, more than two dozen galleries, and many professional and avocational artists. We have a visitor-driven economy and are safely welcoming guests to town this summer. We look forward to seeing you at the Magnificent Makers Market!

The Magnificent Makers Market is made possible by our SCA Signature Sponsors

Perrigo, Hoffman Jewelers of East Grand Rapids, Dr. Stelios Dokianakis of Holland Doctors of Audiology, Jim Sellman, George Stoutin of Edward Jones, Michelle & Bob Fish, Baird Private Wealth Management, Wade Rouse & Gary Edwards, Gregg Smith / Coldwell Banker, Victor Cardona & Phil Smith, Jonker’s Garden, Miller Johnson, Macatawa Bank, Dan & Sandy Shanahan / Shoreline Realtors, Lakeshore Allergy, First National Bank of Michigan, Cunningham Dalman

Until further notice, the following COVID-19 customer guidelines will apply for those shopping The Market at SCA. These guidelines were drafted according to Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-60 and recommendations from the Michigan Farmers Market Association MIFMA. Please contact us at or call (269) 857-2399 with any questions or concerns. Regulations are subject to change and vendors will be notified accordingly. Please remember that customer safety has always been, and will continue to be, our top priority as a Market. Thank you for your cooperation!

The Saugatuck Center for the Arts will be stanchioned off; there will be one entrance and one exit for customers. Market staff will be counting the number of shoppers coming in and out so we can ensure that everyone can maintain adequate social distancing. Please expect to wait in line and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between you and others while doing so. Your patience in line is appreciated!

If you have been ill within the last 14 days, caring for someone that has been ill within the last 14 days or sharing a residence with someone that has been ill within the last 14 days, we kindly ask that you do not shop at the Market at this time.

Customers should consider wearing masks while they shop. (cloth masks are acceptable.) Masks should cover your nose, mouth and chin and fit snug to the face. If you choose to wear gloves, please make sure you dispose of them properly in the trash receptacles. Do not litter gloves on the ground.

Please be mindful to maintain at least 6 feet of distance between you and other customers at all times to keep yourself and your fellow customers safe and healthy. You are asked to shop as quickly and efficiently as possible. We highly advise you to shop alone, without children and with as few family members as possible. This is a time to shop for food, not to socialize.

The SCA will provide hand sanitizing stations.

Customers are advised to wash all produce and wipe down all food packages prior to eating and storing products at home. Food is not allowed to be consumed onsite.
