Where are you located?

Accessibility and ADA Standards?

The SCA complies with all current ADA Standards (Americans with Disabilities Act).

Wheelchair-accessible seating is available in the front row of the theatre, seats A5 – A7 and seats A27 – A29. In addition, all of the remaining seats in Row A are accessible. The first row is on the floor-level.

Companion seats are reserved in the first row and in the second row behind the wheelchair-accessible seating. According to ADA Standards, patrons purchasing companion seats must also purchase at least one wheelchair-accessible seat. We are able to sell companion seats without an accessible seat once all of the accessible seats are sold OR when the rest of the theater is completely sold out.

The SCA main stage theater has an induction loop system, which magnetically transmits sound to hearing aids and cochlear implants with telecoils (T-coils). For patrons without t-coil compatible hearing aids, listening devices can be checked out from the SCA Box Office free of charge.

When making reservations, please mention seating or accessibility needs. When making a reservation online, please include seating or accessibility needs in the Order Comments section so that our staff can prepare your space before your arrival.

Where can I park?

We have 45 spaces in the SCA lot in front of the building. There is an additional 80 spaces in the city parking lot next door. Street parking may also be available near the SCA. During the summer, the Interurban runs from the Saugatuck High School into downtown on schedule, and by request. Please call (269) 857-1418 for information regarding the Interurban.

Is the SCA a non-profit?

Yes, the SCA is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization.

What does "Equity" mean?

Equity, also known as Actor’s Equity Association or AEA, is the union for stage professionals – singers, actors and dancers. All Broadway shows, in addition to national tours and regional theaters like Mason Street Warehouse, work under Equity contracts.

Do you have an AED machine?

We have an AED machine on-site. All staff is trained on how to use this device.

Can you smoke at the SCA?

Smoking is prohibited inside the building. We provide a receptacle for cigarettes and smoking 25 feet from the entrance.

Where is the lost and found?

The lost and found is located in the box office. Please call or stop by the office for missing items.

Do you have an ATM?

We do not have an ATM on the premises, but there is one located outside Chemical Bank just one block away.

Are pets allowed in the facility?

Only service pets are allowed in the building.

Do you have a gift shop?

We do not currently have a gift shop; however, several art pieces and memorabilia are available through the box office. Please call with specific questions.

Is the facility accessible to guests with disabilities?

Most of our facility is accessible. We have two handicapped parking spaces in our lot. Handicapped seating is available in the theatre and studios. Our main offices are not accessible to wheelchairs due to stairs, but we are happy to come down to assist as needed!
