Dixie Happy Hour (Virtual)

Just what we need right now — shaken not stirred — Dixie Longate is back!

You loved her in Never Wear a Tube Top While Riding a Mechanical Bull (and 16 other things I learned while I was drinking last Thursday), in her all-new Happy Hour, Dixie shares stories while mixing cocktails and challenging you to see the Happy Hours that are right in front of you!

What do you get when you serve up gin, rum, vodka and tequila? According to Dixie, it leads to scrolling through your photos from last night to see who you need to bake apology cupcakes for … but if you squint just the right way and change your focus, you’ll also see the glory (and the glitter!) that make you the remarkable person you are.

Dixie’s sweet charm, sassy one-liners, and infectious southern drawl combine for an evening of laugh-out-loud comedy that will leave you feeling better about yourself and wondering if there’s enough left in the bottle for one more glass?!

For this show, the SCA and Dixie are partnering with Out On The Lakeshore which provides a constant source of support and understanding to the LGBTQ community in the greater Holland area. Your donation will directly fund increased programs, services, and support groups for the LGBTQ+ community of West Michigan provided by Out On The Lakeshore. In 2021, OOTL is placing an emphasis on mental health by establishing new support groups and improving existing groups for members of the LGBTQ+ Community and their families.

Your ticket purchase for Dixie’s Happy Hour supports the SCA and its performers, and an additional donation to Out On The Lakeshore will also provide the education, events and resources necessary to foster understanding and to advocate within our West Michigan area for a community that accepts and embraces everyone.
