COVID-19 Requirements

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR EVENT ATTENDANCE

Upon arrival to an SCA indoor event, every guest is required to:

  • Present a photo ID.
  • Provide 1) proof of having been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 OR 2) proof of having tested negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours before attending the SCA event.
  • Wear a mask while in the building, regardless of vaccination status.

In regions with substantial and high transmission, the CDC recommends that everyone (including fully-vaccinated individuals) wear masks in public indoor settings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its variants. To that end, SCA requires all attendees—regardless of age or vaccination status—to wear masks while in the building.

All staff, volunteers, and artists entering the venue are required to be fully vaccinated as well. This policy aligns with the policies of other organizations, presenters, promoters, and artists and ensures that live performances continue to run safely.

If you have tickets to an upcoming performance and are uncomfortable attending or unable to abide by our policy, contact the SCA Box Office at least 48 hours before the performance time at boxoffice@sc4a.org. We will exchange your tickets (minus fees) for an SCA Art Pass gift certificate.

Please Note:
We are closely monitoring recommended guidelines by the CDC and local health agencies in regards to the current COVID-19 pandemic and will make adjustments to our requirements accordingly. These requirements are subject to change.

The SCA is committed to creating a safe, healthy environment for all of our guests. In addition to our above requirements, we have also implemented the following facility-wide improvements:

Air Purification
We have installed an iWave air purification system throughout the building. This advanced technology reduces pathogens, allergens, particles, smoke and odors in the air providing the most effective air purification method for your health and safety.

Antimicrobial Surfaces
All hard and soft surfaces at the SCA have been treated with MicrobeCare, a unique patented, EPA-registered antimicrobial coating that helps reduce the spread of infection and cross contamination of dangerous microorganisms. MicrobeCare is non-toxic and has FDA approval.
