Build your own tour with individual passes for the 5th Annual Mountainfilm On Tour: Saugatuck Film Festival March 14 – 31. Whether you’re interested in fast paced suspense and adrenaline, protecting the environment, or just looking for something to do with the kids — we have just the thing for you.

We kick off the month by bringing our 20th Annual Children’s Film Festival to local schools ALWAYS free of charge, which is made possible because of YOUR contribution purchasing tickets to the festival screenings! We’ll be both in the classrooms and bringing students to the theater to experience and learn about cultures, traditions, and possibilities all around the world.

Want to be transported into stories and inspiration WITH your kids? Our Family Film Festival screenings and hands-on activities take place on March 19.

All of this leading up to an action-packed, thought-inspiring, non-stop weekend of film, music, drinks, art, and good conversation at the Community Film Festival on March 25 + 26.

Family Film Festival | March 19

10 AM + 2 PM | Film for Families
Film can be more than just a fun thing to do as a family, it is also a door to open up new ideas, conversations, experiences, and worlds. Get your imagination in gear and gather the family for a day packed with adventure, exploration, and learning opportunities – and not to mention FUN!

Community Film Festival | March 25 + 26

7 PM | The Medley Playlist
Motivation and moments of extraordinary awakening can be found in the most unexpected places. From hysterical laughter, to thoughtful consideration, to tearfilled silence. This carefully crafted medley of shorts is designed to provide moments of intrigue to any viewer.

When the good times are rolling, we WON’T let them stop. After the credits roll on the Medley – get ready for a rocking good time by Colorado-based indie rock band, Wildermiss.

10 AM | Big Green World Playlist
It’s a big green world, let’s explore it. Jump around to different environments, cultures, causes, and traditions that may be out of reach without the power of film. For the love of the outdoors, creatures of all kinds, and meaningful moments – join us on the Big Green World Adventure.

3 PM | Indomitable Spirit Playlist
Stories of those who are impossible to subdue – who never give up in the face of adversity – and who somehow find a way to continue on. From fast-paced moments of heart-racing adrenaline, to soft, meaningful pauses in time… deep inspiration will be found in every tale of the Indomitable Spirit.

7 PM | The Ants and the Grasshopper Feature Film
Anita Chitaya has a gift; she can help bring abundant food from dead soil, she can make men fight for gender equality, and she can end child hunger in her village.  Now, to save her home from extreme weather, she faces her greatest challenge: persuading Americans that climate change is real.
