Using leaves as stencils, participants will complete a 4"x14" painting with 3 raised plates 3"x4" and a 3"x3".

Guest Speaker:  Patricia Pennell
West MI Environmental Action Council
Thursday, July 17 | 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

GOOD WILL DONATION

Rain is natural
-- storm water isn't.
Government studies have shown that up to 70% of the pollution in our streams, rivers, and lakes is carried there by storm water. Patricia Pennell of the West
Michigan Environmental Action Council will lead a conversation on what rain gardens are and why they are so important. Planting a rain garden may seem like a small thing, but if you calculate the amount of rain that runs off your roof, you will understand why keeping rain where it falls – via a rain garden – is a natural and beautiful solution.
