The stories of our lives are front and center in CLOSER THAN EVER, a fresh, cheeky,  thought-provoking musical. A talented cast of four shares poignant musical vignettes about the things that keep us laughing and crying: love, youth, lunch time trysts, parents, cellulite, family, getting winded when working out, and the challenges of growing up and older.

 

This New York Times Critic’s pick is composed by Tony Award winner Richard Maltby Jr. and Academy Award winner David Shire. CLOSER THAN EVER just completed a 6-month New York run with co-direction and choreography by the SCA's Artistic Director, Kurt Stamm. Both Kurt and the New York Production were nominated for a 2012 Callaway Award.
